Arron Sherlock

Managing Director

Sherlock Recruitment & Training has been an established provider of staffing solutions to the construction industry for over 6 years, founded and established by Arron Sherlock in 2014. With a proven track record in growing and scaling recruitment businesses in the construction industry and a desire to offer a superior recruitment service, Sherlock recruitment was born. Arron founded Sherlock recruitment and grew the business from the ground up, his straight-shooting, and transparent way of doing business is not only his trademark but become a defining element to the company he has built.  Focusing initially on specializing on the supply of site staff to the Electrical market, the service has expanded over our 6 years to incorporate site staffing and training services to the entire construction industry. Over the years the client base has grown to include Irelands largest and most well respected construction and Engineering brands.

A dynamic and driven businessman he  is well respected and a highly regarded expert in the industry. He is certified by the National Recruitment Federation [NRF] and have quickly established myself as one of the leading players in the Irish construction recruitment sector.

Linda Cotter

PA/Office Manager

Linda has worked at Sherlock recruitment since 2018 and is the person who keeps the show running here at Sherlock. Linda is a real all rounder responsible for a varied list of activities. Linda’s role includes personal assistant duties to the Managing Director, recruitment of internal staff, account management for safety training. (Safe Pass, Manual Handling etc.) aswell as an extensive and ever growing list of office management duties. Linda is a well respected and valued member of the Sherlock team.

Dave McCoy

Senior Account Manager

Experienced Sales and Customer Service Manager and Dublin Business School graduate. Since 2017 Dave has been the Senior Account Manager at Sherlock Recruitment. His role as a Senior Account Manager involves developing new business for the company whilst maintaining working relationships with active clients. He works closely with all stakeholders internally from the managing director through to the marketing team to ensure that we are in regular contact with current and potential clients. He ensure we are fully compliant and work directly with the recruitment team to ensure that the pool of candidates is not only sufficient but of the standard required for our clients.

He ensures to keep all communication channels open before, during and after a sale. He is the point of contact and identify all touch points that arise both externally and internally. He leads from the front through my daily activity, encouraging and motivating our team to ensure we are working to our full potential.

Cian Croghan

Account Manager 

Experienced Business Development and Account Manager and DCU graduate. Currently working as an Account Manager at Sherlock Recruitment. Cian’s role as an Account Manager involves developing new business for the company whilst maintaining working relationships with active clients. He works closely with all stakeholders internally from the managing director through to the marketing team to ensure that we are in regular contact with current and potential clients. He ensures we are fully compliant and work directly with the recruitment team to ensure that the pool of candidates is not only sufficient but of the standard required for our clients.

Jamie Hyland

Account Manager 

Experienced Account Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the staffing and recruiting industry. Skilled in Microsoft Word, Sales, Event Management, Market Research, and Management. Strong sales professional with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in Advertising and marketing communications from IT Tallaght. Jamie’s role as an Account Manager involves developing new business for the company whilst maintaining working relationships with active clients. He works closely with all stakeholders internally from the managing director through to the marketing team to ensure that we are in regular contact with current and potential clients. He ensures we are fully compliant and work directly with the recruitment team to ensure that the pool of candidates is not only sufficient but of the standard required for our clients.

Damian Murphy

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Bachelor of Arts Hospitality graduate currently working as a Senior Recruitment Consultant for Sherlock Recruitment. Having Worked in the Hospitality Industry for 10 years Damian branched out for a change and joined Sherlock Recruitment in January 2020. He began as a Resourcer on the Electrical Desk and quickly progressed to Senior Recruitment Consultant. In this role he work closely alongside the Electrical Accounts Manager where he sources candidates for temporary and permanent roles within the construction Industry. In changing his career focus Damian feels his customer focus hasn’t been altered and, in many ways, enhanced his progression within the company. His role also encompass a very detailed account of what type of person he is recruiting for and the specifics of the role and combining the two to make a perfect match for both client and candidate. Job advertising, cv screening, phone interviews and being Health and Safety compliant is just some of his daily tasks.

Michelle Casserly

Recruitment Consultant

Experienced recruitment professional with International experience working in Australia, England and Ireland. DIT graduate (HRM). Currently working as a Recruitment Consultant at Sherlock Recruitment; . Michelle’s role as a Recruitment Consultant involves sourcing and placing candidates for the company while maintaining working relationships with active clients. She ensures we are fully compliant and works directly with her Account Manager to ensure the pool of candidates is of the standard required for our clients.

Aisling Kennedy

Recruitment Consultant

Experienced recruitment consultant with more than 5 years’ experience in the industry. Currently working at Sherlock Recruitment; Having worked in Recruitment for almost 5 years and on a Construction desk for 3 years Aisling decided to specialize in temp and perm recruitment for the Construction and Mechanical Industry in Ireland and Europe. After 2 years supplying trades and labour to the construction industry in Australia, she returned home to begin her journey with Sherlock Recruitment at home in Ireland.

Andra has international experience previously working in HR as a Senior HR Coordinator in New Zealand focusing on onboarding, employee relations, scheduling, performance management, benefits, training, wellbeing, and end-to-end recruitment.

Laura Murphy

Junior Marketing Executive

Bachelor of Commerce Global Experience graduate from NUI Galway currently working as a Junior Marketing Executive at Sherlock Recruitment. Laura’s role as Junior Marketing executive involves work in brand development, sales enablement, developing online strategies using social media, website design and updates, generation of inbound and outbound marketing activities, PR/News releases and creating leaflets/brochures/mailshots among other activities.

Ciara’s responsibilities include answering telephone, screening and directing calls, taking and relaying messages, providing information to callers, dealing with queries, ensuring knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization, providing general administrative and clerical support among other things. Over 8 years of experience in Audit and Accounting in different business lines, serving large national and international clients.
